RESEARCH

This research aims to identify what the opportunities are, where they reside and how they should be harnessed in terms of investment, governance structures and mechanisms, and policies related to energy and emissions, innovation, trade, and labour markets. We will provide a national, regional and sectoral perspective.

CONVENE

This study was conducted with the participation of regional stakeholders and sector experts who will offer insight into the economic risks and opportunities associated with the expected decarbonisation of the global economy, and policies and actions that will best position Canada to compete in this new context. To ensure that the proposed low-carbon growth plan not only recognizes, but is in fact built upon Canada’s regional realities, the NRT has partnered with leading public policy organizations in Atlantic Canada, Quebec, Ontario and Western Canada.
