We convene opinion leaders and experts from across Canada around our table to share their knowledge and diverse perspectives. We stimulate debate and integrate polarities. We create a context for possibilities to emerge.

ADVISE

We generate ideas and provide realistic solutions to advise governments, Parliament and Canadians. We proceed with resolve and optimism to bring Canada’s economy and environment closer together.

4.2 The NRTEE Performance Measurement Framework

The performance measurement framework, presented below in Figure 15, identifies the performance indicators for the single strategic outcome and each result and output contributing to this outcome. There are five principal data sources:

  • A bi-annual survey of federal decision makers (via in-person interviews);

  • A bi-annual online survey of national stakeholders;

  • A yearly survey of current and former Round Table members (via in-person interviews);

  • Feedback provided by participants after each NRTEE consultation/information session (by completion of a questionnaire); and

  • Operational data related to the research programs, communications and overall management of the NRTEE.
