Working Paper # 29 - Principles for the Sustainable Production of Pulp and Paper Products: A Report from the Pulp and Paper Round Table (March 1995)During 1993 and 1994, a group of about 25 stakeholders concerned with the Canadian pulp and paper sector came together to join in discussions on issues associated with the sustainable production of pulp and paper. The work of this group built on the work previously completed by Canada's Forest Round Table on Sustainable Development. This paper represents the findings, recommendations and principles agreed to by the stakeholders that participated in the pulp and paper round table.
