The bottom line on managing climate change risks and opportunities: A forum for financial executives

The NRT in partnership with the Network for Business Sustainability (NBS) hosted a half-day forum for financial executives on climate change adaptation and the business community. This forum was part of the NRT's work on its Policy Pathway Report for Climate Impacts and Adaptation (Report #5 in the Climate Prosperity series). This forum explored the business case for action to manage and adapt to the effects of climate change. Participants heard which questions capital market players (e.g. regulators, investors, lenders and insurers) are asking about firms’ exposure to climate risks and heard about tools and strategies leading companies are using to seize business opportunities and manage risks stemming from a changing climate.
